At Pine Tree ISD, UIL isn't just about competition, it's about growth, confidence, and connection. In this video, students and educators share how UIL has helped them step out of their comfort zones, develop leadership skills, improve academically, and find a true sense of belonging. From building stronger communication skills to discovering lifelong passions, UIL exposes students to a wide range of academic events that challenge and inspire. Everyone walks away with something different whether it's new friendships, better grades, or a clearer vision for the future. "I've become more confident in myself... It helps with my grades." "UIL helps students grow into better leaders." "We’re building a team — and a future." Watch how UIL is helping Pine Tree students thrive in their space, embrace teamwork, and shape what tomorrow looks like. https://youtu.be/92bEcCCORmM

It’s been an exciting time for our Pine Tree e-Sports team! This past Sunday, our Pine Tree Port Valorant Team competed on the main stage at a state level tournament in Arlington. Team members included: Leyton Nguyen, Alisha Prasad, Adan Yoeung, Kai Nguyen, and Cason Stafford. Our Pine Tree Starboard Valorant Team team traveled to Baylor University to compete in the Texas Scholastic Esports Federation (TSEF) State Championship. Our Pine Tree Starboard Valorant Team made it all the way to the semifinals before being eliminated. Team members included: Israel Brisenos, Dylan Le, Brayden Andrews, Jonathan Roberts, Leyton Nguyen, Will Jordan, and Timmy Nguyen. We also want to give a shoutout to Alexis Flores-Arevalo, who represented Pine Tree in the Super Smash Brothers Solo Tournament at Baylor!
