Our Jazz Band was out on their annual Christmas Carol Tour, sharing festive music and holiday spirit at Christus, Texas Bank and Trust, Jaggers, Birch Elementary, Parkway Elementary, Pine Tree Middle School, an Administration Meeting, and Longview Mall all under the direction of Santa himself! 🎅🏼
Thank you to all our community partners for welcoming the sounds of the season and helping make the day so special.

They competed Friday, December 12th at Pine Tree High School against all the 5A/6A schools in region 4 for places in the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) All Region Band. They will rehearse and perform a concert on January 23-24th in Mt. Pleasant. The students with a * beside their name qualified to advance to the Area Round to compete for a spot in the TMEA All State Band and Orchestra.

Her artwork is featured on a City of Longview sanitation truck, turning a working vehicle into a rolling art exhibit for the entire community to enjoy! We hosted a BIG REVEAL at the high school campus where her art was shown on the truck.

Congratulations to the following 9th grade band students! They competed against all the other 9th grade band students in Class 5A and 6A in our Region for a place in the TMEA Region 4 Freshmen All Region Band. Pine Tree had 30 students make the 9th grade all region band, which was more than any other school.
They will join the other freshmen this Saturday (12/13) and rehearse all day then perform a concert Saturday night at Paris HS Auditorium.

Pine Tree's annual Stuff A Bus event was a huge success! Thank you to all that donated to our district food drive, this helps support the East Texas Food Bank Longview Resource Center and their efforts to assist families in our community.
