Attention all incoming seventh and eighth grade band students and parents! We are thrilled to invite you to a special meet-and-greet event where you’ll have the fantastic opportunity to meet the new band directors, Mr. Handorf and Mr. Hill, who are eager to share their passion for music with you. This is your chance to get acquainted with the dynamic new leadership of our band program and ensure your instruments are ready for an incredible year of music-making. Join us for an engaging and exciting session where you can ask questions, get your instruments checked out, and learn more about the thrilling plans we have for the upcoming school year. This registration event will take place on August 8th and 9th, 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Junior High Band Hall!! Please use the west side band hall door to enter the building. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to start the year off right! The band staff is so excited for all students and parents to come and be part of our vibrant band community here at Pine Tree Junior High!

Come help us kick off the 2024-2025 school year at Meet the Pirates on Friday, August 9th at 6:30 pm at the Pirate Center!
🏫 Returning student registration is required and must be completed in order to receive schedules at Meet the Teacher. Campuses are open for in person registration from 11 a.m. -5 p.m. today if assistance is needed.
🚌 Online bus rider registration will close at midnight on August 4, 2024. In order to ride the bus the first three days of school, the online bus registration must be completed by August 4th. Beginning Monday, August 5th, students that need to be registered to ride the bus must complete the Bus Registration Form at the child's school of attendance. Students registered to ride the bus between August 5th and 14th will not be provided bus transportation until Monday, August 19, 2024. There is a three-day waiting period for any student registered to ride the school bus after August 14th. This time is necessary to adjust routes, communicate changes in routes and times, and inform appropriate campus staff members. Please contact the Transportation Department at 903-295-5106 with any questions, concerns, or changes to previously entered information.

Today, we had the pleasure of attending the Region 7 Teacher of the Year Luncheon. We were thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of our educators. A big congratulations to our Elementary Teacher of the Year, Jasmine Colman, who graced us with her presence and to Terri Davis, Secondary Teacher of the Year, who was unable to attend today. Thank you to all the dedicated teachers who make a difference every day!
Our coaches and athletes have been working hard all summer preparing for the coming year!!! And it's almost here!!!
