Oh dear, oh dear—I’m late for a very important final performance! The Director has sent me (yes, me, the White Rabbit!) to hop into your inbox with an urgent, whimsical, and slightly dramatic reminder:

TONIGHT at 6:30pm
Pine Tree Little Theatre
“Alice in Wonderland” — The FINAL SHOW!

If you’ve not yet tumbled down the rabbit hole to see our students’ delightfully mad performance, this is your last chance before the curtain closes forever (or at least until the next theatrical masterpiece).

Expect talking flowers, chaotic tea parties, a slightly unhinged Queen, and one very confused girl named Alice—all brought to life by a cast that’s curiouser and curiouser!

So put down your grade book, pick up your sense of adventure, and follow the rabbit to the theatre before I lose my pocket watch again.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cheer, and you’ll leave saying, “Why, this must be some kind of magic!”
Tick-tock, tick-tock—time is slipping away!
See you at 6:30 sharp, or I might have to send the Queen after you!
Yours in perpetual lateness and theatrical panic,

The White Rabbit

🏀 Bigger Than Ball: Pine Tree Basketball Releases “The Tree” Gear 🏀

Pine Tree was founded in 1847, with strong ties to the Castleberry family and the big pine tree where early community gatherings and services took place. This is where the idea for “The Tree” merchandise began—rooted in our history and the strong community spirit that defines Pine Tree. It’s more than just clothing; it represents our shared journey, strength, and pride.

When I became the head basketball coach, our focus went beyond the game. We adopted the idea of being "Bigger Than Ball." Together with the coaches and players, we worked to grow not only as athletes but also as leaders, teammates, and members of this special community.

The support and positive feedback from everyone have been truly humbling and meaningful.

Because of this, I wanted to create something that lets us all show our pride. This merchandise isn’t just about the basketball program—it’s about our town, our history, and the people who make Pine Tree who we are today.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Pine Tree Art Department would like to recognize the following students for being the 2025 winners of the Charge into Fire Safety Poster Contest by the Longview Fire Department:

Brooklyn Mitchell and Max Ambern both from Birch Elementary and Bella Byrdsong from Pine Tree High School. These 3 students were recognized and given a medal at the Longview City Council meeting by Mayor Kristen Ishihara and Chief Grimes from the Longview Fire Department.

Students were asked to make a poster that represents fire prevention and/ or fire safety. They were also supposed to consider this year's theme which was “Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium- Ion Batteries in Your Home”. All posters were original work made by the students.

Pine Tree ISD won divisions for the Primary Division (Grades 1-2), Intermediate Division (Grades 3-4) and the High School Division (Grades 9,10,11,12).

Pine Tree ISD and the Art Department are extremely proud of these students and their hard work and creativity. 💙💛

We are proud to announce our partnership with STOPit Solutions, a nationally recognized leader in
school safety and wellness.

Through this partnership, everyone in our school community has access to the STOPit anonymous
reporting app – a powerful tool designed to deter and promptly address instances of bullying, school
violence, self-harm, and inappropriate behaviors.

With the STOPit app, users can anonymously submit tips, attach photo or video evidence, and privately
message school leaders with the necessary information to help everyone involved.

In addition, when a student or anyone in our school community needs immediate support, the STOPit
app provides direct access to Crisis Text Line. Users can anonymously text with counselors (day or night)
until they feel safe and calm.

We encourage everyone in our school community to download the STOPit app.

If you haven’t already done so, we kindly urge parents and guardians to download the STOPit app and
become familiar with its features. This will not only enable you to guide your children in using the app
but will also demonstrate our collective commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our whole school
community.

The STOPit app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
