We had the honor of celebrating our incredible Primary and Secondary Teachers of the Year at the Region VII Teacher of the Year Luncheon! Amber Harrington, our Secondary Teacher of the Year, represented Pine Tree ISD with excellence and pride. While our Primary Teacher of the Year, Kori Thompson, was unable to attend due to other commitments, we are equally proud of her dedication and impact in the classroom.

Congratulations to both of these outstanding educators for inspiring students every day!

Pine Tree Middle School students have had an unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C. ! Day 1: After an early morning start, students kicked things off by visiting some of our nation’s most iconic monuments, the Air and Space Museum, snapped photos at the White House, and closed out the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. Day 2: For the third year in a row, June 4th took them to Mt. Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery. This year’s trip had a fun new twist they ended the day with a ride on the Capital Wheel at National Harbor! Day 3: Students toured the U.S. Capitol, explored the Library of Congress, and visited the National Archives before heading to Williamsburg for the next leg of the trip. Day 4: Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg did not disappoint! Our students learned so much history and even wrapped up the evening with a fun ghost tour. What a trip! So many memories made.
