Join Pine Tree High School Theatre for the community performance of Alabama Story by Kenneth Jones on Thursday, March 7 at 6: 30 p.m. in the Pine Tree Little Theatre located on the high school campus. General admission is $10 and $5 for staff and students.

CEER Academy is an innovative, fast-paced learning environment focused on growth and collaboration for students in grades 1st- 8th. Their learning will grow in an environment that is set up to be fast paced and flexible. Our program emphasizes students' strengths, encouraging collaboration across grade levels and campuses. Congratulations to our High School (varsity and junior varsity) Color Guard teams that competed in their district show at Pine Tree High Show in the Pirate Center this past weekend!
Both teams had competitive success - Varsity took 2nd and Junior Varsity took 3rd over some tough competition. Both teams have advanced to state. Junior Varsity state competition will be March 23rd at Flower Mound Marcus High School and Varsity state competition will be April 6th & 7th at Coppell High School.

We are proud to announce seniors Chloe Tesser and Jose Aranda as winners in the Texas Eastman Essay and Oratorical Contest in honor of Black History Month. Jose placed 2nd and was awarded a $1000 scholarship. Chloe placed 4th and was awarded a $500 scholarship.
Students submit a research essay about a black person who has profoundly impacted a STEM field. Judges select the top five essays and then invite those five students to round two which is an oratorical contest. According to rules, students memorize a speech to be delivered without notes. Judges tally the results from the essay and the oratory for final results.
To date, Pine Tree students have been awarded $13,000+.
