Pine Tree juniors Stephanie Viramontes and Jose Aranda have been selected for the prestigious QuestBridge College Prep Scholars Program. Jose and Stephanie were among 3,518 honorees selected from a pool of more than 15,000 nationwide candidates based on their academic excellence and personal qualities.
Being accepted into the QuestBridge program as a junior increases a student's chances of matching with a college as a senior. The program also provides free access to full scholarships to a college summer program hosted by Yale, Emory, UChicago, and others, personalized college essay feedback, college campus visits, and specialized guidance and resources for the college application process.
