Pine Tree ISD uses parent notification system. The School messenger - Rapid Notification Service allows the school district to send important information quickly via phone, email and/or text. This service allows the district to send a voice and/or email message to all parents/guardians within minutes, if an emergency occurs at a school.
The School Messenger service also assists the schools in reducing the resources needed to pass along key information regarding school events or reminders. The intent of this system is for group notification purposes.
The district uses School Messenger for:
* Emergency notifications such as evaculations
* Early dismissals due to severe weather/emergencies
* Early release day reminders
