2011 Bond Passes : On March 10, the PTISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a bond election. The bond referendum totaled $29,995,000.00 and was structured into one proposition. The bond proposal includes improvements in four main areas: technology, career/co-curricular facilities, athletic facilities and infrastructure renovations.
Pine Tree voters gave approval to the Bond Referendum. Results from the election as of 7:35 p.m. Saturday, May 14th: FOR - 1436 AGAINST - 1339

The Pine Tree ISD Board of Trustees has unanimously called a school bond referendum which will be held on May 14th. The bond referendum totals $29,995,000.00 and is structured into one proposition.
The thirty member committee is composed of a combination of appointed and volunteer members. The School Board members selected a total of fourteen members, two people per trustee. The remaining members are sixteen volunteers who applied to serve through the application process. Applications were available online at the district webpage and a paper copies were available at the Administration Office. Committee members are all volunteers who are tax payers in the Pine Tree school district and are not compensated for their service to PTISD; nor are they permitted to have any active or pending contracts with the district. Committee members counsel and provide input, but they do not have management or policy setting responsibilities.
The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 7, at 6 p.m. in the High School Library. The planning process will conclude in January and will consist of a total of 3 or possibly 4 meetings. J.P. Grom with Lockwood, Andrews, and Newnam will facilitate all of the meetings.
