Pine Tree ISD was well represented at the Parent & Family Engagement Conference held in Waco. Amy Clugston, Assistant Principal at Pine Tree Birch Elementary; Melissa Newton, Counselor; and Annette Johnson, Assistant Principal at Pine Tree High School, attended on behalf of the district alongside community partners.
The conference brought together educators and school leaders from across Texas to explore innovative strategies that strengthen relationships between schools and families. Sessions focused on meaningful communication, community collaboration, and building supportive partnerships to ensure student success.
The team plans to share tools and strategies learned at the conference to enhance family involvement initiatives across the district.
