⚠️ Action Required: Parent Consent Needed for Nurse and Counselor Services ⚠️
Beginning September 1, 2025, a new Texas law (Senate Bill 12) requires parental consent before school nurses may provide health-related services to students and before school counselors may provide routine counseling services to students.
Without your consent, nurses and counselors will only be able to provide assistance in emergencies. This means we will not be able to provide health services such as basic first aid (including bandages and ice packs), or routine counseling services until the consent form is completed.
Please log in to your Skyward Family Access account to complete and submit the consent form. The form must be completed on a computer, not on a mobile device. If you do not have access to a computer, please visit your child’s campus office for assistance with log in.
Thank you for your partnership in supporting student health and well-being.

🎉 Congratulations to Pine Tree High School students Theone Frederick, Eva Vizueth, and Jezibella Martindale!
All three were named winners in the 2025 Texas School Safety Center Art Contest and had their artwork showcased at the Texas School Safety Conference this summer. 🖌️💛
The contest invited middle and high school students to submit original artwork highlighting their perspectives on school safety. Students could choose from three prompts:
• What is the biggest problem you and/or your peers experience at school?
• What does a safe school look like to you?
• What does your safe place from stress and worries look like?
✨ Winning Artwork:
Theone Frederick – “Drowning in Grades” (chalk pastel)
Eva Vizueth – “See my Thoughts” (chalk pastel)
Jezibella Martindale – “Burnt” (Prismacolor pencils)
We are so proud of their talent, creativity, and the way they represented Pine Tree ISD! 💙💛

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released the 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings for districts and campuses across the state, bringing back clarity and transparency for Texas families. Pine Tree's overall district score is a B(86). Additionally, the delayed 2024 ratings have been made available to school systems and the public following the resolution of legal proceedings that previously prevented their release. Congratulations to Abby Neff for being selected as an Outstanding Performer by the University Interscholastic League (UIL) at State Solo and Ensemble '25. Of the approximately 100,000 students participating across the state only 2% of solo performances earn this distinguished honor. This is truly a mark of musical excellence. The medallion received is awarded to state champions in all UIL events. Abby is a recent PTHS graduate and will attend Stephen F. Austin State University in the fall.

🏈💛💙 Strap in, Pirates… it’s ALL IN. ALL SEASON 💙💛🏈
