Announcement: New Financial Aid Graduation Requirement

In accordance with Texas Education Code (TEC), §28.0256, beginning with students enrolled in 12th grade during the 2021-2022 school year, each student must do one of the following in order to graduate:  

  1. Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);

  2. Complete and submit a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA); or

  3. Submit a signed opt-out form.

Remember there is a difference between DUE and POSTMARKED. Scholarship applications will be linked to the online application's website or uploaded under the scholarship section below. Paper copies are also available in the counseling center. See Mrs. Hernandez if you have questions.

  • Sign up for the ACT HERE.

Students that qualify for the district's Free/Reduced Lunch Program may be eligible for fee waivers to take the SAT, ACT, and get other benefits to apply to college.

Students can request a fee waiver in the high school's Counseling Center.
