There are many programs to consider. Being a host family has so many benefits: the opportunity to learn first-hand about other cultures and customs, gives you a change to help a young person grow into a more confident, mature and world savvy adult. PTISD Early Dismissal Announcement
Dear PT Parents, Faculty, and Community:
This morning at approximately 11:10 am the Pine Tree Administration was made aware of a threat of family violence by an individual whose children attend our school. In an overabundance of caution, District leadership initiated a shelter-in-place while Longview Police Department completed its investigation. The threat has cleared and regular operations resumed district-wide at approximately 11:30 am. There was not and is not an active threat on campus at any time. The administration felt this move was necessary to protect our students, staff, and families. We apologize for any inconvenience this action may have caused.
