Future Pirates Club events are perfect for children who have already turned 4 or 5 years old or will be 4 years old by September 1, 2024, but are not yet in school fulltime. This program is tailored for our little adventurers, so please note it's not designed for 2 and 3 year olds. However, if you have a baby still in a stroller, they're welcome to tag along if needed. 🕙 Remember to arrive between 9:45 and 10:00AM to get your badges ready for the adventure! 🌟 At 10:00AM, Mrs. Walton, our amazing PE Teacher, will gather you and your future pirates to journey into outer space right in our gym's planetarium! At the April 8 board meeting, our PTHS Cheer Team led the pledges. Above and Beyond awards were presented to Jodi McQueary and Brandina Ednie for outstanding service to PTISD. Our Teachers of the Year were also honored and recognized. Teachers of the Year are: Primary - Jasmine Coleman and District Elementary Teacher of the Year; Birch Elementary, Bonnie Smith; Parkway Elementary. Misti Scaggs; Middle, Caleb Epnett; Junior High, Dasia Williams; High School and District Secondary Teacher of the Year, Terri Davis and PACE, Dana Taylor. Pine Tree High School Car Wash Fundraiser - April 13 - Drug Emporium - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - $5 CASH

Tomorrow is the Solar Eclipse! Please send a towel for your child to sit on. It is suggest to wear red or green to be able to see how the colors change. Please come and join us! We have over 300 glasses to share with our guests. We need help with our students to help them safely enjoy the experience. We will also have activities as well to help kids look at the shadows the sun and moon are making so that students are looking up at the sky the whole time. Weather permitting this should be an amazing experience for you and our students! To check out your child afterwards, bring bring your car tag!
