Last year, our students stuffed several buses so lets do it again this year! Join us in donating to our district-wide canned & boxed food drive now through October 21st. All items will be donated to the Longview Community Ministries. You can drop your donations off at any PTISD campus. PTISD Health Science classes will present a trophy to the campus that collects the most food items in the district. #pirateproud

We wanted to remind you that there will be no school on Friday, October 11th due to a staff development day. Additionally, all campuses and offices at Pine Tree ISD will be closed on Monday, October 14th due to a district holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 15th.

📦 Helping Those in Need 🚛 This Friday, a shipment of supplies will be heading out from Longview to North Carolina to support those affected by the recent catastrophe. We are asking your help for donations of new or lightly used toys for the children impacted. Parent Notification September 11, 2024 Dear Pine Tree Parents/Guardians, We are aware of rumors circulating about potential threats to public schools in our area, specifically related to Pine Tree ISD. Working closely with the Longview Police Department (LPD), we have investigated these rumors and identified the source of one as a high school student. This student shared concerns online after hearing other students discuss the issue. However, these rumors have no validity. Additionally, some students are redistributing outdated posts, making them appear as if they are new incidents. Sharing false information creates unnecessary stress, causes worry, and places an undue burden on both school and police resources. We encourage you to speak with your children about the importance of addressing concerns appropriately. If your child has any concerns, please encourage them to speak directly with an administrator or School Resource Officer (SRO) rather than turning to social media. Social media is not the right platform for resolving these matters. Please be assured, there is no immediate threat to the safety of any Pine Tree campuses. Campuses are open for in person registration from 11 a.m. -5 p.m. today if assistance is needed. 🚌 Online bus rider registration will close at midnight on August 4, 2024. In order to ride the bus the first three days of school, the online bus registration must be completed by August 4th. Beginning Monday, August 5th, students that need to be registered to ride the bus must complete the Bus Registration Form at the child's school of attendance. Students registered to ride the bus between August 5th and 14th will not be provided bus transportation until Monday, August 19, 2024. There is a three-day waiting period for any student registered to ride the school bus after August 14th. This time is necessary to adjust routes, communicate changes in routes and times, and inform appropriate campus staff members.
