Earlier this afternoon a man wandered up from Lear Park. He was immediately confronted by campus personnel and Longview PD at the entrance to Lear Park. The campus was placed in a temporary “hold”. No students or staff were in any danger. Thank you.
Just about reminder: come out to Cane's on Tuesday night to support our amazing Sapphires!!

Mr. Epnett’s students had a blast today learning about the Space Race between the United States and the Soviet Union. They synthesized their new knowledge of history with argumentative writing by creating comic strips of a Russian and American debating who won the race to space!

"Our 6th grade GT students had a great time at the Region 7 Innovation Inventions seminar. Students were tasked with building a wildlife rehabilitation habitat for an injured animal. They had to design a blueprint of their habitat and were given a budget to purchase their supplies. Students also had to test their prototype to withstand water, wind, and predators. They did a great job of representing PTMS!”

Just a friendly reminder that all Pine Tree ISD campuses and district offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of a district holiday. Students will return to class on Tuesday, January 20.

Please help our 5th grade CEER students reach their goal of funding a water well in Africa.
Each pack of socks is $15, makes a perfect stocking stuffer, and brings our students one step closer to making a global impact. In addition, for every two packs sold, one pair is given to us to donate to a local charity; this allows our students to give back both here at home and across the world.
The deadline has been extended until tomorrow (December 12th)!
