Pine Tree Middle School is celebrating a historic milestone as Team Billy Bob Jr. made up of Elias Estrada, Gray Davidson, Devany Alanis, and Evie White became the first ever PTMS robotics team to qualify for the VEX World Championship.
Throughout the event, the team collaborated and competed alongside robotics teams from across the globe, including Turkey, Canada, China, as well as teams from North Carolina, California, and North Dakota. The experience gave students the opportunity to strengthen their teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills while building connections with fellow robotics competitors from around the world.
Students also had the opportunity to watch top-level robotics competition, including a perfect score in the Elementary School Finals, gaining inspiration and insight into the possibilities of competitive robotics.
