Ingram Recognition

The Pine Tree ISD Board of Trustees honored 2025 graduate Te’nescia Ingram at their August meeting for achieving a milestone in school history. Te’nescia is the first student to earn the Educational Aide I certification while enrolled in the Pine Tree High School Teaching and Training Program, led by Mrs. Kathryn Darden.

As part of the recognition, PTISD Superintendent Steve Clugston presented Te’nescia with a Letter of Intent guaranteeing her a job interview with Pine Tree ISD upon completion of a college teacher certification program.

The PTHS Teaching and Training Program is a dual credit program in partnership with Kilgore College. Throughout the program, students complete observation and internship hours at Pine Tree elementary campuses, gaining valuable hands-on classroom experience.

Te’nescia will attend Prairie View A&M University this fall

“Te’nescia has set the bar for future students in our program,” said Mrs. Darden. “We're excited to see what all she accomplishes!”
