The UIL One-Act Play cast and crew are up bright and early to prepare for Zone (Feb. 26) and District (March 5). The play is directed by Mr. Christopher Dickson.


The guard has been working hard to prepare for winter competition. Come out and see their shows today. Both junior high and high school groups will perform.

The Longview ArtsView Theatre presents their 24-Hour Musical Project this Saturday in the Belcher Auditorium. Join them for a fun surprise!


The Pine Tree HS Math Science Team continued their success at the Spring Hill Invitational on December 7, finishing only 34.3 points behind Sabine and ahead of Hallsville and Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to competing at Spring Hill, they also competed in the Virtual Challenge Meet. Senior Cread Ray tied for 1st place in science but lost by 0.3 of a point in the tie breaker out of more than 2000 science entries in 1A-6A.
Out of 133 calculator teams, Pine Tree was 8th. The Number Sense team was 10th out of 154 teams, and the Science team was 9th out of 135 teams.
The math and science teams are coached by Amber Harrington and Dannie Urban. 🏴☠️
The team will compete next when they host the Jar of Dirt Invitational on January 10-11.



Please join the Pine Tree High School Choir Boosters this Saturday for Pancakes with Santa. The annual event is always a hit with students and parents. Everyone is welcome!
