Welcome to Pine Tree Precision Drill Team
Purpose of Precision:
The purpose of the Precision Dance Team is to encourage quality performance, academic standards, loyal school spirit, and high personal values among its members. Through the development of dance technique, leadership, cooperation, responsibility, self-discipline and sportsmanship in each individual member. Precision will fulfill its purpose for Pine Tree High School and the community of the Pine Tree ISD.

Ashlyn Thompson is from Nederland, Texas, and grew up training at Keely Jardell School of Dance for 16 years. She also danced competitively with the studio for 9 years. During high school, she was a member of the Nederland Westernaires drill team, where she served as junior Lieutenant and Captain her senior year. After high school, she attended Kilgore College where she was a Rangerette on the 80th line. During her time as a Rangerette, she had the opportunity to perform in Birmingham, England. After graduating from Kilgore College with an Associate of Arts degree, she attended The University of Texas at Tyler and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology. She has been married to her wonderful husband Cole since December 2022. Ashlyn is passionate about teaching her students and is honored to be the director of the Pine Tree High School Precision Drill Team!
