Congratulations to Rylie Apple and Jennifer Chen, recent Pine Tree graduates. Riley and Jennifer were awarded scholarships from the Greggton Rotary. Jennifer is a 4-year member of the UIL Journalism team and will major in biology at Baylor University. Rylie is a 3-year member of the color guard and a 4-year member of the theatre program. Rylie will major in business at McMurry University.
Congratulations to the percussion ensemble for earning a 1st division "superior" rating today at the UIL State Solo and Ensemble contest! Way to go, Pirates! 🏴☠️

Wow! What an energetic and exciting show performed by Precision! These dancers covered the full range of emotions but our favorite is their appreciation for their director, Mrs. Ashlynn Thompson. The PIne Tree Junior High color guard competed in the North Texas Colorguard Association's (NTCA) championships March 8 at Mansfield High School.
The Varsity team placed 4th overall while the Cadets placed 8th. Congratulations on a great season! There is a meeting on March 20 in the high school band hall for any students interested in being in color guard in high school.
The PTHS Junior Varsity team competes in the NTCA championships March 15 at Flower Mound HS.
