Attendees will learn how to become a host family - Come meet and greet with current exchange students and gather information on an amazing hosting experience. #exchangestudentinfonight2024



Join Our Fundraiser at Raising Cane's and Support PTHS Cheer!


At the April 8 board meeting, our PTHS Cheer Team led the pledges. Above and Beyond awards were presented to Jodi McQueary and Brandina Ednie for outstanding service to PTISD.
Our Teachers of the Year were also honored and recognized. Teachers of the Year are: Primary - Jasmine Coleman and District Elementary Teacher of the Year; Birch Elementary, Bonnie Smith; Parkway Elementary. Misti Scaggs; Middle, Caleb Epnett; Junior High, Dasia Williams; High School and District Secondary Teacher of the Year, Terri Davis and PACE, Dana Taylor.

At the PTISD February 12th board meeting, our Middle School students led the pledges. Laura Payne was recognized with an Above and Beyond award. Jackie Brown, a volunteer at Parkway Elementary, was presented the Most Valuable Pirate (MVP) award. The district recognized Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers and students during Career and Technical Education Month. Birch First Winter Book Fair
Birch Elementary School will hold their book fair from February 5th-8th in the Birch Music Room. Listed below are some important details regarding the fall book fair.
-Tax will be added to each item. Please send at least $1 with your child to ensure an item can be purchased.
-All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
-Cash or credit/debit cards will be accepted. No checks.
-We should have several books available for $3.99 plus tax.
Special Events
A GRAND Lunch Event: On Feb. 5th, GRANDparents and other “GRAND” people are invited to eat lunch and shop at our book fair with their student. (Lunch will be $4.75 for visitors.)
Afternoon Family Shopping Event: On Feb. 6th , families are invited to shop at the book fair from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
“We Love Our Teachers” Wednesday: On Feb. 7th, parents are invited to eat lunch with their child and shop with their students to purchase a book for their teacher’s classroom library. (Lunch will be $4.75 for visitors.)
