📚💙 Growing readers. Readers are leaders. Birch Elementary loved welcoming Mrs. Darden’s high school students as reading buddies for our 1st and 2nd graders. Big kids leading by example, little readers growing in confidence—this is Birch Pride in action!

Just a friendly reminder that all Pine Tree ISD campuses and district offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of a district holiday. Students will return to class on Tuesday, January 20.

All Pine Tree ISD district offices will reopen and return to normal business hours on Tuesday, January 6, and students will return to class on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

We can’t wait to welcome all of our Pirates back and kick off the new year together!

The Creature Teacher visited Birch for our Power Hour and she did not disappoint. The students were engaged and learned so many new things about unique animals. They even were able to pet a baby kangaroo! It was a good day to be a Pirate!
