I have been a Pine Tree Pirate at heart ever since my husband, Coach Ellis, starting coaching here in 2017. I made the Pirate Life official in January 2021 when I accepted a teaching position in the Health Science Program. This year I will be teaching Principles of Health Science, Health Science Theory and Clinical Observation. I am a Registered Nurse and a graduate of the UT Tyler Nursing Program, Class of 2014. I still continue to work in the Emergency Room and I am excited to be able to share my first hand experience with my students!!

I am a proud parent of Cannon, 6, and my bonus daughter, Cadence, 15. I also have a fur child, Axel, who is a Goldendoodle. My hobbies include embarrassing my children with my awful singing and embarrassing my husband, Coach Ellis, when I cheer loudly in the stands at the football games!

I am looking forward to this new school year! Go Pirates!
