I have been in education for 29 years. This is my 27th year teaching at Pine Tree and my 12th year on the ExCEL campus. I am a graduate of Pine Tree, and I come from a family of Pine Tree teachers. Both my grandparents and my dad each taught 30 or more years in this district. I received my bachelor’s degree in education from Stephen F. Austin and my master’s degree in school counseling from Lamar University.

All things Disney is my obsession. Winnie the Pooh is my absolute favorite character. I also like to read, to scrapbook, and to put puzzles together.

My passion is for the students, and I will do everything in my power to help them become successful adults.
