8th Grade Counselor

Hi! My name is Valerie Ogle and I am the 8th grade counselor here at PTJH. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in 1999. That fall I began my teaching career at the Primary school teaching kindergarten. After 9 years I felt the need for a change and decided to go back to school to become a school counselor. In 2009, I graduated from the UT Tyler with my Master of Arts in School Counseling. I took a huge leap of faith and became the 7th grade counselor here at PTJH. From my time with the littlest Pirates to my time with the almost biggest Pirates I have loved being a Pine Tree Pirate!
I have been married to my husband Tommy for 17 years. We have a daughter Maggie (14) and a daughter Mollie Kate (10). They keep us busy with their many activities. In my free time I enjoy cooking, running, and spending time with family and friends.
