Johanna Eppley is the director of choirs at Pine Tree Junior High and Middle School. She is in her fifteenth year teaching choir and her tenth year at Pine Tree. Mrs. Eppley is an East Texas native, graduating from Marshall High School. She received her Bachelor’s of Music from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Mrs. Eppley lives in Marshall with her husband, and together they have a 10 year old daughter named Emma, a four month old son names August, and an adorable pitty named Pepper. In her free time she enjoys running and spending time with her family outdoors camping, hiking, and canoeing.

Mrs. Eppley strives to teach her students the basics of reading music and starts the foundation of vocal production and tone. The choir has received numerous sweepstakes awards under her director.
This program builds higher level musicianship to prepare students to enter the high school choral program.
