Star Chart Instructions
Star Chart is a survey that is reported to the state about the technology in the classroom. This is required for our school to apply for particular funding. Such as, our Internet connection, fiber cabling that ties our entire schools network together, and the use of our phone system.
Principals Information:
You have the ability to add teachers for your campus and input your teacher’s email address. Star Chart automatically generates your teacher’s usernames and passwords and emails this information once the teacher is added to your campus. You can login and print your teacher list if you need to give any teachers their username that have forgotten them. For your teachers that have forgotten their passwords, they will need to enter their user name and click “send password”, to have it emailed to them. Principals, if you have forgotten your username, email me and I can look it up for you. If you have forgotten your password, you can enter your Star Chart Username and click the “Send Password” to receive it in an email. After your teachers have submitted their surveys, you can go in to complete the Principals Report.
Teachers Information:
You have the ability to complete your survey. Login for Star Chart is on our Staff page. If you have forgotten your Star Chart Username, your principal has the ability to get this for you. If you have forgotten your password, you can enter your Star Chart Username and click the “Send Password” to receive it in an email.

Principals can submit their report as soon as 100% of their teachers have submitted.

 

In the event a teacher is not with us:

1.     Click “EDIT” out to the right of the teacher name

2.     Uncheck the “ACTIVE TEACHER”

3.     Click “UPDATE”

In the event a teacher is having trouble logging in:

1.     The principal can view their teachers username.

2.     If the teacher doesn't have an email address associated with their information, it indicates that the teacher has never logged in.

3.     The principal can give that teacher their username and the default password is password.  This system will prompt the teacher to associate their account with
        an email address and to change their password once logged in for the first time.

4.     If a teacher has logged in before and forgot their password, that teacher can go to the same URL, http://starchart.epsilen.com/login.aspx type in their
        username, then click send password.  This system will send their password to the email address associated with their login credentials.
