Hello and welcome!  My name is Guy Kelley and I teach Psychology, Sociology, and US History.  This is my first year here at Pine Tree, but I already feel like a member of a tightly knit family.

A little about me:  I grew up in Massachusetts, about 30 minutes north of Boston.  I am proud to call myself a Bostonian, but please don't call me a Yankee because at the end of the day, I am a Red Sox fan.

At 17, I enlisted in the US Navy where I served for six years as a Cryptologist Technician onboard the USS Boxer out of San Diego.  Upon the end of my enlistment, I joined the corporate workforce only to find I had little passion for what I was doing.  At 26, I decided to go back to school full time to pursue my goal of teaching.  I graduated from UT Tyler with a Bachelor's in History with a minor in Social Studies.  I also hold an Associates in Psychology from Argosy University.

I have been married 11 wonderful years to my best friend and supporter, Jessica, and together we have 3 "children": Molly and Sadie (doggies), and Scarsdale (cat).

As an educator, it is my goal to provide all students with skills necessary for life in the 21st century.  I have a keen interest for technology and I am continually looking for new ways to include it in the classroom.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am here to serve you, my Pine Tree community.
