We look forward to meeting with everyone in the near future and are glad that we can finally begin to get back on track with instruction. With the pandemic on everyone's mind, we know it maybe a little bit before we can get face to face with all the students, parents, and guests, so here's a little about me...

I graduated from PTISD in 2001 and in the Spring semester of 2002, started at Kilgore College. In the Fall of 2005, i graduated from KC with 2 Associates Degrees (Automotive Technologies and Collision Repair Technologies) and an Advanced Certificate in Welding Technologies. I worked and the Automotive Instructor here at Pine Tree HS for the 2005-2006 School Year before moving into industry, taking a position at The Sabine Mining Co. as a service truck operator. Over 15yrs, i moved into the Heavy Equipment shop and various areas throughout the company receiving cross training in several different positions. I oversaw the Emergency Response Team and Mine Rescue Team for over 13yrs and was one of the core trainers for the mine. After hearing about the vacancy here at Pine Tree, i decided it was time to come back to instruction. I am excited about transitioning into this new role and look forward to molding the Automotive Repair programs into a platform that will turn students into future technicians in this field. With the training they will receive here at Pine Tree, students will be able to enter into a vocational atmosphere or an on the job training center and be ahead of the curve.
