Pine Tree ISD Administration Building, 1701 Pine Tree Road. The tax office is located in the Central Admininstration building.  Turn onto Pirate Avenue off of Pine Tree Road and drive toward the Pirate Stadium.  The entrance to the Pirate Stadium is on the left; the entrance to the tax office is in the Central Administration building on the right.  View map.

Appraisal Notice
Appraisal notices are sent to all taxpayers at the beginning of May. Your notice will include the current year value of your property, the estimated amount of taxes for the current tax year and any exemptions that you applied for prior to the value notice. If you have any question about your tax notice, please contact the Gregg Appraisal District office, 903-238-8823.

About Your Statement
Tax statements are mailed at the beginning of October. If you have an escrow account with your mortgage company, the mortgage company will receive your tax statement. All other statements are sent to the homeowner. If you would like a copy for yourself you may print one from the website. The tax statement covers taxes from January 1 through December 31. Payment is due to the PTISD Tax Office no later than January 31. A postmark of January 31 is acceptable. Payments postmarked February 1 and later will be assessed penalty and interest. If mailing payment and in doubt about the deadline, it is strongly recommended that the US Post Office hand stamp the date on the envelope to insure a January 31 postmark. The same applies for the end of each month thereafter.

Exemptions
All applications for exemptions may be obtained from the Gregg Appraisal District. Various exemptions are available such as homestead exemption, disability exemption, over-65 exemption, etc. Please contact the Gregg Appraisal District for more information, 903-238-8823.
