As a public school system, Pine Tree schools welcome all students who live within the boundaries of the Pine Tree Independent School District and meet state age and health requirements. Pre-K and Kindergarten: Early Registration, Aug. 4-5, 1808 Silver Falls Road, (Primary Campus) 9:00-3:00 Grades PK-12: Registration, Aug. 11 or 12, 600 PT Parkway (Middle School Campus), 8:30-11:00 / 1:00-4:00 Returning? Immunization RequirementsClick here to view the current requirements for immunization. For the protection of children, state law and district policy require parents to provide proof that each student enrolled in school has been fully immunized. English and Spanish versions are available from the Texas Department of State Health Services. Registration Documents:All students enrolling in the school district for the first time will need the following at the time of registration: 1. An official copy of the child’s birth certificate or another document suitable as proof of the child's identity. 2. A current immunization record - showing the child has had the immunizations as required by the law. (Click here for Immunization Information.) 3. A proof of residency (a current drivers license or picture ID, electric, gas or water bill if living in a house or a rental lease agreement including names of children) 4. A copy of last report card if available, or records from the school the child most recently attended if the child has been previously enrolled in a school in this state or another state. New High school students registering in grades 9-12 are strongly encouraged to bring an unofficial transcript when they register, so that they may be enrolled in classes at this time. Parents are expected to accompany their children during registration. Under this section the person is also liable for tuition or other costs to the district. |
