Red Ribbon Week
October 22-26, 2012 
Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country. It serves as a vehicle for communities and individuals to take a stand for the hopes and dreams of our children through a commitment to drug prevention and education and a personal commitment to live drug free lives with the ultimate goal being the creation of drug free America.

Wear Red show commitment to be drug free.

You and your family members sign the “Smart Choices” slip of paper. We will make a long chain to commit to be drug free. Discussion for the entire family!

Wear your “Camo”!! Join the fight to be drug free.

Wear your favorite College t-shirt or jersey to show that education is the key to be drug free.

Wear Pine Tree colors (blue and gold) to show that will be a drug free team.

Elementary

(1-2)

Monday - College Shirt 

Tuesday - Wear Red

Wednesday - make red chain links at school

Thursday - Wear camo

Friday - Wear PT colors

Intermediate

(3-4)

Monday – Wear Red to show your commitment to be drug free.

Crazy Sock Day – Sock it to drugs by wearing crazy or mismatched socks

PT Spirit Day – Wear blue and gold to show that we are a drug free team

Junior High

(7-8)

Twinkie Day (dress like twins):  “Drugs will make you see Double”

Nerd Day (wear black frame glasses, suspenders, etc): “Be Smart, Don’t Start”

80’s Day (side pony tails, leg warmers, sweatbands, etc): “Drugs Will Set You Back”

Neon Day (wear neon clothing): “Be Bright, Don’t Do Drugs”

Tie Dye Day (wear tie-dye): “Peace Out to Drugs”
