What is Community U?
Pine Tree ISD parents and community members have the opportunity to participate in a yearlong journey that provides a personalized, firsthand look at how the district operates and all of the great opportunities afforded to the students of PTISD.

What will we do?
Sessions will provide interaction with students and teachers, tours of district facilities, dialogue with administrators, district personnel, and opportunities to see firsthand how the district works. Members of the Pine Tree ISD Community U class will learn about all aspects of public education.

When will we meet?
Time: 8:00am - 11:00am (except the last session)
Dates: (Third Friday of the month)
October 18 ; November 15; December 20; January 17; February 21; March 21
Final Meeting: April 7, *5:30pm (Prior to the April Board Meeting)

Who can join?
Enrollment is open to any parent, business leader, and/or community member within Pine Tree ISD. Enrollees are asked to commit to the full program and be able to attend each monthly sessions.
