“Make Education a Priority” is a grass roots movement by Texas School Boards to motivate legislators to work hand-in-hand with educators to provide all Texas children with a school finance system that is adequate, fair and equitable. This can only be accomplished by respectful communication and productive work among legislators, educators and a public that cares about its children. The resolution offers a way for communities to come together with a united goal. Supporting this resolution is one way of standing up for education which is after all the foundation of democracy. We hope the message is clear to our state legislative representatives, that we must work together to help protect and improve public education.
